Dr. Isaac Ampofo is a leader in Connecticut’s aging services field. With more than a decade of experience spanning caregiving, homecare management, and healthcare systems leadership, he brings empathy and expertise to every case.
Before founding CMC (Compass Medicaid Consultants LLC) , Dr. Ampofo served as a caregiver for eight years — an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to supporting families through aging and long-term care transitions. Today, he leads both Compass Medicaid Consultants and AMP Homecare in a non-clinical, non-legal capacity, focusing on Medicaid access, case coordination, and senior advocacy.
Dr. Ampofo holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Yale University and Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGIHP) respectively. His academic achievements also include:
